Hopeful Days Ahead

It's as if her smile says 'I'm finally here, and it was all worth it, it can only get better now'.
I wanted to practice working with more visible brush strokes and creating volume by simply using colour.
I kept tweaking her face so much that at some point I got to the 'proportionally perfect' version of her, but she was missing something, that bit of uniqueness and personality that this one has. Lesson learned: let's not chase perfection, it can turn out boring!
